A: No, you pay one annual premium based on age, gender and benefit amount selected.
Q: Do my benefits reduce with age?
A: No, the premiums paid are for a one-year term life policy.
Q: How do I pay for this coverage?
A: The premium for the entire one-year term will be collected prior to policy issuance via a credit card you provide at enrollment. Please note that the card must be in the applicant’s name to confirm that payor/insured/owner are all the same person. In the event of the Insured’s death during the policy term, the portion of any premium paid that applies to a period beyond the policy month of death will be included in the lump sum benefit payout.

Q: When can I expect my policy?
A: Once the transaction for payment of premium has been completed, please allow five business days for electronic delivery and seven to ten business days for paper delivery.
Q: What are the exclusions for this policy?
A: SUICIDE: We will not pay the policy proceeds if the Insured commits suicide, while sane or insane. Instead, we will return all premiums paid.
Q: Can I designate more than one beneficiary?
A: Yes, you can designate as many beneficiaries as you would like. Each beneficiary will be given a percentage of the benefit as directed by you. The total designated percentages for all listed beneficiaries must equal 100%.
Q: Will you be sending information to my email address?
A: If you consent to the electronic delivery of policy documents, we will email you directions to retrieve a copy of your policy upon approval.
Q: How do you file a claim?
A: Your beneficiary should contact the Plan Administrator, Insurance Administrator Services (IAS), to begin the process.
Q: When does my coverage end?
A: This policy provides insurance for a term period of one year. The Term Period begins on the Effective Date and expires one year from the policy effective date. The Policy may not be renewed or converted; however, following the expiration of the Term Period, you are invited to apply for a new one-year term life policy.
Multi-policy Max Face Amount Disclaimer: The maximum face amount available for purchase is $50,000.00. If you are purchasing multiple policies from American Fidelity Assurance Company, the total combined face amounts shall not exceed the maximum face amount available. If this were to occur, we would refund premiums collected for the overage.
